We Missed The Severe Weather However It Was Not Far From The Viewing Area!!!

Alright here is a quick post about what we have to look forward to today and where all the severe weather really went yesterday! First off the WLFI viewing area may have missed out on the severe weather however if we head just to our south you will find a lot of hail reports around the area! Hail anywhere from .88" inches all the way up to 2.75" inches or Baseball sized!! That's right Baseball sized!!!!! Take a look at this report as well as all these severe weather reports below.
Size 275 1 W FISHERS HAMILTON IN
MULTIPLE REPORTS OF BASEBALL SIZE HAIL NEAR 116TH STREET AND HAGUE ROAD RELAYED BY WTHR. (IND)

Just look at those reports!! Could you picture hail that size falling in our area? I'M sure you can however we are thankful that did not happen! You can really pick out where the severe weather really was and how close to home it was. We are very glad we missed out on this severe weather as we really did not need any of it! We had enough last Saturday that is for sure!

So what do we have to look for today? Well we will see some scattered showers around the area. However some models are showing as we head into this afternoon we will start to dry out.We will look for rainfall between a quarter inch and a half inch with locally higher amounts still possible in areas. Once this front finally moves out of our area we will start to dry out for a little while. Which after that three inches of rain Lafayette, seen Saturday we could use some dry weather. Yes, we will be cooler today as well, With highs trying to get into the Low 70s. Winds will be light between 15 and 20 mph. Nice and calm!

Sunny skies will return by Thursday! Just a little something we can look forward to! My sister said she had a wonderful birthday yesterday. I had to let her know I was sorry for running all over yesterday trying to keep up with the latest weather models. She was totally fine with it! That is just the kind and understanding person she is! HAPPY 20TH CJ!

I'M going to try and get some much needed rest fellow bloggers! I will catch up with you all again tonight! Have a great one bloggers!

Afternoon all, been raining all moning. A few heavy downpours, finally just a light rain, is a chilly day. But I like it LOL!

DD cannot wait for hot weather so she can go swimming. Told her she could go wadding in our basement/celler, ugh!!!

Going to bake choc chip cookies, a nice day to have the oven on.
