First Snowfalkes Of The Season Have Been Spotted In Lafayette!

Well, I have seen the first snowflakes of the season this evening! Along with a few other people who was out and about this evening. I can't wait to get this winter kicked off with a big snow! :) sorry warm weather lovers but I had to say that lol ;)

Anyway I wanted to go ahead and put together tonight's forecast along with Saturdays as well. take a look below.
Tonight we can expect to see mostly cloudy skies over the WLFI viewing area with around a 30% chance of some light scattered snow flurries around the area. As we have already seen in parts of Lafayette. Lows tonight will be cold around 24* degrees! winds will be light but cold between 10 and 15 mph. This will make our nightly wind chill feel around 14* degrees! This is what we talked about yesterday.

Saturday we will start out early with mostly cloudy skies only to become partly cloudy as the day persists. highs will be in the middle to upper 40s around 48* degrees with lows falling into the 20s once again around 28* degrees. Winds will be light between 10 and 15 mph. This will make for a nightly wind chill of 19* degrees.

Yes, Nature is giving me nice and cold weather for my Birthday tomorrow! Thank you Nature! it may not be snow but I'll take it!! :)

Hot Cocoa Advisory Is In Effect!

Yes, we have a HOT Cocoa Advisory in effect from tonight through Saturday. This Advisory has been issued do to the cold weather about to impact the area! Yes, I'm talking about lows around 24* degrees in the forecast. But when? I'll get to that in just a second.

First off in my last post we talked about possible snow flurries in the forecast. Is that still holding true? Well, at this time I feel I can still keep in around a 30% chance for precipitation, and around a 15% to 20% chance for snow flurries. Take a look at tonight forecast below.

Tonight we will look for mostly cloudy skies across the area with around a 20% chance for some light precipitation with a 15% chance for a few light scattered snow flurries later on into late tonight. Lows tonight will be in the upper 20s around 28* degrees with winds between 10 and 15 mph gusting to 20 mph. this will make for a nightly wind chill of around 15* degrees!

Now here comes the real cold! Take a look at this below.Yes Friday I'm looking for a low of 24* degrees!!!! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I LOVE IT! ;) lol. Anyway this will be a better chance for snow flurries if we see the precipitation move across our area. Here's Fridays forecast below.

Friday we will look for mostly cloudy skies across the area with a few scattered rain / snow showers / flurries not ruled out! Precipitation less then a tenth inch. Best chances for snow flurries would be early morning and late evening / night. Highs will be in the low 40s around 44* degrees. Lows will be in the low 20s around 24* degrees. Winds will be between 10 and 15 mph which will make for a nightly wind chill of around 14* degrees.

Yes, winter is almost here and we may get our first look at that beautiful white stuff! However I know a lot of you don't really care for snow for may reasons, And it's understandable. However you won't have to worry about this forecast! We will be lucky to see the flakes! Summers Over! WELCOME WINTER WITH OPEN ARMS!! :D

I have some cold weather to talk about bloggers! Yes, the polar Express is getting closer and closer! Take a look at this temperature map I have below.
This is a look at Friday's temperatures around the area. see that blue line I have put up? This is showing the area of cooler temperatures that will over take the area come Tomorrow through out the week! But how cold is this? Well, I'm looking for highs Friday only in the low 40s! Near 43* degrees "Maybe". With lows under freezing at 30* degrees. With the way things look this low could change for the cooler by time Friday night gets here! But temperatures are not the only cool thing in the forecast this week!
That's right I have a FLURRY CHANCE in the forecast for late Thursday night into Friday. We will see some stray flurries possible in northern Indiana on Thursday however the better chance is Friday. Still this is only around a 20% chance. I just had to make this noticeable! lol. You all know me when it comes to snow! So YES THIS IS A BIG DEAL lol :)

Here's your forecast below.

Wednesday we will look for highs in the low 50s around 54* degrees with lows in the 20s around 29* degrees! Look for partly cloudy skies with winds light between 3 and 5 mph picking up to 10 mph by night. This will make our nightly wind chill feel around 21* degrees. Brrrrrrrrrr YAY! Get out the extra blankets and the heavier coats!

Thursday we will see mostly cloudy skies over the WLFI viewing area with a few stray light hit and miss snow flurries in way northern Indiana that night. Highs will be in the upper 40s to low 50s around 50* degrees. Lows will fall into the middle 30s around 37* degrees possible. Wind will be between 10 and 15 mph with gusts to 20 - 25 mph possible. this will make our nightly wind chill feel around 23* degrees.

Friday is the 20% chance for a few light scattered snow flurries. Nothing much at all however flurries are still possible and you know I'll be looking for them! :) Highs on Friday will only be in the upper 30s to low 40s around 43* degrees "Maybe". Lows around 30* degrees.

Weekend Forecast!

Hey bloggers. Just wanted to pop in with a quick look at you forecast for both tomorrow October 30th, and Halloween! So lets get to it.

Tomorrow, aka, Saturday we will look for mostly clear skies with highs in the upper 50s lower 60s around 60* degrees. Lows will drop into the low 30s around freezing, 32* degrees. Winds will be slightly breezy between 20 and 25 mph with a few gusts to 28 - 30 mph possible. This wind will make our nightly wind chill feel around 17* to 20* degrees.

Now for your Halloween outlook.

Your updated Halloween forecast above. As you can see I'm expecting a real treat for the Trick - Or - Treaters this year. With Mostly clear skies and highs around 58* degrees. Lows could drop near the freezing mark at 38* degrees. Winds are looking like they will be rather light and calm between 10 and 15 mph. Maybe a few gusts to 20 mph possible. Over all it's looking like the kids will be able to enjoy trick or treating. Parents as well! ;)
