Be sure to tune in here later on tonight for the latest on just how much rain we seen around the area yesterday and what is still expected to come later on this week! Will we have a nice dry weekend????? I will have your answer coming up here real soon! See you then....................

71* degrees Yeaterday Along With Some Thunderstorms And Now Snow Is Back In Our Forecast?!?! There Are Many Things Going On This Week!

We did see nice clear skies and even some highs in the 70s! Can you believe it? it was a nice day until we started to head into right around 8:pm when the rain started in. Now take a look above at this map I have put together you can see the average high which is right around 60 degrees and the record high for the month of April which is 86* degrees. We fell right in the middle of both with a high yesterday of 71* degrees. What a nice day it was! I talked with many people who just got out and enjoyed every bit of it!.....Now this morning we have but more wild Indiana weather to deal with and by that I'M talking about some early morning gusty winds! Yes, we will want to grab the warm coats as you head out this morning! See why below.......... That's right! WINDY WAKE UP! Be ready for the winds to be gusting between 30 to 35 mph at times. Now this is not expected to be an all day event which I'M sure most of you will like. Still we will see this wind until after what looks to be 8:am. Also it will still be a little wet with the light rains still trying to make there way out of our area by sometime around 7:am. Then we will start to see the clouds break up by this afternoon for what is looking to be a nice day with Partly Cloudy skies and winds will again calm to between 15 and 25 mph. Also Saturday is looking like another nice day. We will see Partly Cloudy skies and rather mild temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s. This is all before we see but another round of rain / thunderstorms. Yes, Sunday will be our next chance of thunderstorms. Now currently I'M not seeing anything severe but I do see our Lifted Index around -5 which means we could see some mild thunderstorms at times. As we get closer we will as always know more! Still we will watch this just to be safe but for now we will look for rainfall between a Quarter inch and a Half inch possible. And as always I will have another update on this coming your way soon..........And now I'M showing you a SNOW MAP!?!?! Why you ask????? Well, this is because we do have some more light snow back in the forecast once again. Now looking at the map believe it or not we do on average see snow this time of year. Right around 1.9" inches or just under two inches. So far this month we have not seen any but that could change come the start of the work week! Yes, Monday is currently the best chance for some snow and maybe some real light and I do mean light sticking snow possible. Otherwise we could see more light snow flurries on Tuesday! I will have expected snowfall amounts and we will time this all out here on the Indiana Weather Blog coming here shortly! Also coming up I will have just how much rainfall we seen last night around that area and today early morning. All this and more on what we can expect coming your way real soon so be sure to check back..........

And thanks again for sticking with me through this whole blogger mess. I have to use a different computer to blog with you all until I can get whatever is wrong with mine fixed! I can post nightly blogs like this one however trying to do updates through out storms is going to be a little harder but I will do my best!!!!! I love to keep you all posted so you know a little virus is not going to stop me! ;) lol Have a good day bloggers and I will see you real soon! The weekend is coming up!!!!! Just a little something to look forward to..........Now go have a GREAT DAY! :o)

Slowing Storm As We Sit In Some Dry Air!

I'M running around using another computer to give you updates lol. I wanted to pop in to let you all know this system has slowed a bit for we have a lot of dry air in place at this time. I'M looking at current dew points of only 40* degrees and our relative humidity is only at 34% This is dry air. I did feel a few quick little droops earlier around an hour ago but that's about it! So when will we start to see this rain and or Thundershowers?????

Well I think we will start to see the rain and thundershowers start to push through our area after 8:00pm this evening. We are seeing some severe thunderstorm warnings and even a few tornado warnings in the southern part on our great state and it still looks as though all that will stray down their. We still could see a stray thunderstorm but currently I still don't think we will see severe weather which is great news! I'M sure you all agree! Also I'M seeing the dew points start to rise if we look in around to our south west in IL, which tells us it is not to far off before we start to see the rain! Get out while you can for soon the rain will fly!!!!!

Here is a quick look at the current radar image. I have put the Yellow line around where all the current severe weather is! You see it is staying to the south of our area this is good news for us here at home. This is where we will see most of the severe weather stay as we head into this evening hours. More good news for back here at home is I'M not getting any reports of winds gusting over 24 mph and even to our west in Danville IL, not getting any over around 15 mph. Still there is a chance we might see them once again pick up tonight as the thundershowers move through just so you have a heads up. Still not seeing them gusting over 35 mph. This is the update as of now..........

I have been running all over from my pc doing the weather to another pc to give blog updates! What a mess this whole virus thing has been! UGH I don't like it one bit!!!!! But things happen and we have to do with what we got! Let's just hope this mess gets over with soon..........And a BIG THANKS to my sister CJ, for letting be bum her pc for blog update! CJ you Rock! lol ;)

I will try to keep checking back as needed!

Checking In With A PC Update And Now Blog Troble?!?! Ugh Still Hanging In There!!!!! :)

Hey everybody, I do have my pc it' self working at this time which is GREAT news however I'M still having some problems with my blogger account meaning that I cannot seem to log into it with my PC, I think I know what it is and I hope it will be working by at least tomorrow / Friday. If not then things could be slow on the blog for awhile and I hope that does not happen. If that is to happen I will still be posting blogs like normal I just will not be able to do frequent updates through out the day like I like to do in storms. Anyway I will see you all here again later on tonight so be sure to check back! Thank you for hanging in there with me and please just give it time and I will be back up and going strong! Thanks again!

Real quick I will tell you we are not expecting to see any severe weather today just some possible thundershowers at times and rainfall that will be pushing an inch and a half at a possible inch and a quarter expected! This is a lot of rain. We are not in the slight risk for severe weather at this time which is good news. After looking at all the weather models our CAPE values are low and it is looking like the severe storms will stay south around Indianapolis and south east of Indy. Still we will watch things closely just to be safe but for now main threats will be the Heavy rainfall and maybe some gusty winds at times to 30 - 35 mph.

We will start to clear out on Friday afternoon with Partly cloudy skies and hopefully I will be up and running (with the blog I mean!) :)

I will check back soon..........Thanks for hanging with me!

Computer Problems Have Hit My PC, Blog Post May Be A Little Slow! Ugh :(

Hey everybody. I'M having a little computer problems tonight as in I have a few infected files that need to be fixed as soon as possible. ASAP. I did not know that I did not have a virus scan so a few files got infected. Currently I'M using a different computer so I don't have all my handy weather models and such that I like to use so much. So for a while Blog post may be slower then usual I'm sorry to say. Also checking e-mail will be harder. I will try my best to keep posting what I can about the weather to come until I can get things going again. My dad and I will be working on it again today and will get a scan put in to clean out all the bad files and then things should be OK! Now I would like to point out that this is not the BIG virus that is going around which is great news!!!!! But is still going to slow me down a bit. I will keep popping in and I will do my best to keep you all posted! Now I did however get at least one more forecast in before my files got infected so here it is!

Today we will run into some Partly Cloudy skies which will be great news with a high of right around 61* degrees. Winds will be between 20 and 25 mph.

Thursday we will start tracking more rain showers and maybe even a quick thunderstorm later on that evening but good news is it does not look severe at this time. Look for a high in the upper 50s and a low in the low to mid 40s.

Friday is looking like we may see a few early morning showers however that will give way to some Partly cloudy skies by that afternoon. Highs will be in the low 50s and lows in the middle 30s.

And Your Extended Outlook is looking like the start to our weekend will be a nice mostly clear day with a few possible clouds off and on but over all mostly clear and highs in the low 60s!!!!! Yes, we will be dry to start the weekend only to see more rain back by Sunday. another wet week it is looking like so hang in there!

Now it is April fools day so be sure to get out and fool your friends but be nice about it lol..........I'M not joking about my PC just so you know. Again it is not the BIG virus and looks like it can be cleaned up by the scan. So after that is done I will be back and going strong with you all again. I Hope to be back up and running by Thursday or Friday at the latest! (Let's Hope) ;) Still keep your comments coming I will try to read as many as possible. Thank you for your patience and giving me time to get things going once again. Have a great day all Bloggers. I will try to check back soon!
