That's right I wanted to start off with letting you all know to take it slow if heading out early this morning. You can see why above! We will wake up with some patchy fog in areas. And this can make driving dangerous so please allow yourself some extra time to get where your going as you head out this morning until the sun really comes up and takes care of some of this fog..... Now after this fog lifts we will see some mostly cloudy skies through out much of the day. Don't be alarmed to see some light rain also as you head out this morning for we do have the slight chance to see off and on light rain showers. However the better chance for some rain will be later on this evening into early Friday which we could also see some scattered thunderstorms. Right now the SPC does have the WLFI viewing area under the Slight Risk For Severe however currently I think we will see more of Scattered thunderstorms this evening. Now do to Daytime heating I will have another update on this coming this afternoon so be sure to check back. We will look a lots of surface data and keep track on how stable the atmosphere is!! You all know how fast things change here in Indiana! ;) But we will stay on top of things!! :)
Here is a quick sneak peak at your Mothers Day forecast above..... Looking Partly to Mostly cloudy with mild highs in the upper 60s to low 70s and at this time I think we will keep it dry as the latest models are showing the main rain threat staying to our south! I will have more on this and like I said we will have another update on the thunder outlook this Afternoon so be sure to check back!I will see you then and be careful in the fog this morning!
