Hey Bloggers. Brow shows us this great picture above of the flowers blowing in the wind yesterday. This really shows how windy it really was in areas. with winds gusting to almost 30 mph in Lafayette and gusts to around 35 mph just to our east in Danville IL, those flowers had no problem blowing in the wind! So the question is do we have more windy weather to get through today? Well, I think we get a break from the wind today but not from the rain. Yes Flooding is a a main threat this week as you can see in this statement I have posted below from the NWS.....Check it out.....

Yes, that is right all eyes are on the area rivers!!!!! We did dodge the severe weather last night do to the fact we seen more cloud cover through out the day then first expected which kept things more stable.....This was good news for the WLFI viewing area. We seen a little thunder here and their but that was just about it. Now we are calling for rain just about everyday this week! Yes, even some rain this weekend. Good news is I don't think it will be a total wash out after looking at the latest weather models. More of an off and on rain. Today I think we could pick up another Tenth inch to a Quarter inch possible..
And now I wanted to show a few quick pictures below.....
Above are the gang from Mike Prangley's going away party..... It was a really nice get together at the Chick Fil A on St Road 26. That was my first time going their and after the great food and fun we had I'M sure that wont be my last! Everything was just great but I have to say my favorite part was just being around such nice wonderful people! They are all so kind warm and easy going..... You can't help but laugh and have fun when your around them. This was the best way to show how we are all a family on the blog and Mike will be truly missed here in the great state of Indiana and the city of Lafayette. He has done so much for our community and inspired so many people. And so many look up to him I being one of them. He is one of the nicest guys you would ever want to meet and in my book he is one of the best weather guy's out their! SO HERE'S TO YOU MIKE!!!!! :) We all wish you and your family the BEST!!!!! GOOD LUCK MIKE! ;)
