Rainy Rainy Rainy Over The Indiana Area!!! Bloggers Remember Your Umbrella's!!!!!

Waking up to more of this wet mess!!!!! Yes, rain on the windows just makes you want to sleep more! Well, we will be seeing this rain through out much of the day off and on. I do however think when all is said and done most of the WLFI viewing area will be looking at rainfall between a half inch and one inch possible and we cannot rule out a few locally higher amounts in thunderstorms possible. Now I do want to be clear that we are not expecting to see anything severe with this low pressure in our area or as I should say in the WLFI viewing area at this time! I think anything severe would stay from I74 south. Still we cannot rule out some scattered thunderstorms with this low pressure system!

Here is a look at a map I put together for you all below. You can see just what we are looking at for today!
Lot's of green is for sure! We will be seeing our highs staying right around 73* degrees today as that weak cold front will try and make it's move on us here by later on this evening into tonight. We will look for our lows tonight to fall into the lower 60s around 61* degrees. Which really is right around where we should be for this time of year! Now with all this talk of rain today do we see any break in the weather anytime soon???

Well, I do think that after today's rainfall we will start to see a little break in the weather! Well, at least enough to finish out this week. Then we can talk more about rain again closer to the start of next week.

Now here is your quick cast Blog cast below.....

--------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------
Today Highs around 73* degrees with off and on rain showers through out much of the day. We will look for rainfall between a half inch to one inch possible with locally higher amounts. Winds will be light between 10 and 15 mph. Lows tonight look to be around 61* degrees.

Tomorrow / Friday is looking better with mostly cloudy skies however I will not rule out a few quick peaks of sun just yet. Winds look light between 10 and 20 mph. Highs will be in the upper 70s around 77* degrees. And lows in the upper 50s around 59* degrees.

Now before I head off to get some sleep before I have to be back here do to the rain and what not. I wanted to show you all this picture that my aunt Carrie, sent in of the American flag blowing high up in the Indiana wind! Really we did not see any real high gusty winds yesterday however she was still standing out straight and standing tall!!! Thanks aunt Carrie, for sending in this picture. Have a wonderful day Bloggers. I will check back today as needed.......... Until then Bloggers remember your umbrella's and stay dry! ;)

I am "sleepless in Remington" after a night of wx radio going off for storm (North) and flood warnings. The house was miserably hot, had to check windows, etc. Around 4:00 a.m. the T&L came through here. Was not bad, I checked radar, wx statements and went back to bed! They left .47 here and it is still raining.

Good day for a book to read??

Yeah I forgot to turn on my wx radio last night but woke up at 4am too! The thunder and lighting made me want to check the weather...and then I went right back to sleep.

Soggy morning!

LOL! My wx radio woke me up as well, I was pushing all the wrong buttons on it, will need to reprogram. Just got back to sleep then the loud boomers, I then ran around the house to close windows.

MA, My house felt like an oven, even though I show a temp of 66.7* the dew points are 64.5, better than yesterday though.

Steady rain in Laf at this time.
Good day for a nap?
