There you have it! The severe thunderstorm watch is now in effect for some of our southern counties! This watch is in effect until 11:pm EDT tonight..........Currently we are seeing these storms that have popped up stay to our south. However I still think as we get closer to 5:pm 6:pm and 7:pm we will be seeing more of this line come together as It follows this cold front. Also then we will have an even better idea of what we can expect!! Still I will not rule out a stray severe thunderstorm along with the Dangerous Lightning, Gusty Winds, and Heavy Rainfall. It is still early so all we can do right now is keep watching and keep people posted when things start to really take shape!

I will check back as needed.

  1. Justin, do you think that most of the nasty stuff with stay further south of us this time around?

  2. Yes. Go read Chad's blog. He explained why this would probably happen yesterday.

  3. Thanks Justin, Temps have dropped a bit from almost 81* to 76.6* yet the dew points are 66.
I had been watching the clouds not nearly as billowing as yesterday at this time.

Not to wish bad on anyone, I hope this stays south of Tipp Co. yet we are very close to the watch line
