FLOOD WARNING

...A FLOOD WARNING CONTINUES FOR PORTIONS OF THE FOLLOWING RIVER...
WABASH RIVER...


THIS LATEST ROUND OF FLOODING IS BEING CAUSED BY HEAVY RAINFALL OF 1
TO 3 INCHES THAT OCCURRED IN EASTERN ILLINOIS AND WESTERN INDIANA ON
WEDNESDAY.


FLOODING WILL AFFECT SOME LOCAL RIVER ROADS...SOME RIVER CABINS AND
COTTAGES...LOW BOTTOMLAND AND RIVER PARKS. THE MINOR LOWLAND
FLOODING WILL END IN THE LAFAYETTE AREA BY MONDAY...AND END AT
TERRE HAUTE ON WEDNESDAY. LOWLAND FLOODING WILL LAST UNTIL ABOUT
THURSDAY IN THE HUTSONVILLE AND RIVERTON AREAS.

There is a lot to talk about today! Snow moved into the area last night and is still effecting us at this time. Lafayette has picked up 1.75" inches of snowfall as of now! We can look for snowfall through out much if not all day. Also watching the area rivers closely as you can see in the massage above!

We will continue to watch things closely. Most roads are looking good snow - wise however still take it slow! I will check back soon with stories from our wonderful Christmas. I hope you all really enjoyed yours!
