Get Ready For The Coldest Day Of The Season So Far!

Oak bloggers. The High wind warning is no longer in effect at this time! It has been allowed to expire. However we do still have that Wind Advisory in effect for much of the WLFI viewing area. Here are the counties currently under that advisory below.

...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM EST THURSDAY...

We also still have that level 3 travel advisory in effect for Tippecanoe, county until Noon time Tomorrow / Thursday. Here are all the details below.
Routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of a hazardous situation; citizens should use caution or avoid these areas. ... This does not prohibit travel, but recommends caution. It also asks that the public makes an effort to not park in a way that interferes with snow removal. Level 3 is the least restrictive

Now let's take a quick look at what we have in store for Thursday / Tomorrow. Right now I'm looking at Partly cloudy skies over the WLFI viewing area and lots of COLD COLD weather! I think we will keep highs in the middle teens and lows in the low teens. Wind chills in the subzero area. Here is a look at your wind chill outlook below. You can see the big difference in the real time temperature and the wind chill temperature. This is because we will still be seeing winds gusting in the morning near 30 mph then as the day continues we will see the winds slowly start to calm down to 20 and 25 mph.

Friday will be partly to mostly cloudy with winds between 10 and 20 mph gusting to 25 maybe 28 mph at times. Our high looks in the low to middle 20s. With wind chill it will feel around 8 degrees. The low will be in the middle teens. With wind chill it will feel around -4 degrees.

I don't see any more rain or snow for at least a little while. However you can bet I'm already looking into Christmas forecast in hopes for snow! As you know it is WAY to early to give a forecast however when it gets closer I will be sure to keep you all updated!! ;)

Now I'm going to go relax for a little while and I'll catch you all here again later on with your Friday and Saturday Quick Cast... Thanks for blogging with me today and for all your weather reports. Now stay Safe, Warm, and Blessed! I'll check back soon..........
