Cold and snowy weather is on the way! With dangerous cold wind chills!

Quick Cast...........................................

Tonight. Lows in the low Teens with a few snow flurries. We will have to watch out for the cold gusty winds which will be between 10 and 20 mph after 7:pm with possible gusts to around 38 mph.

Tuesday. Highs in the Low teens and lows in the single digits. Few snow showers with snowfall around an inch and a quarter! Winds between 10 and 20 mph gusting to 25 mph.

Wednesday. This is the day I'M watching closely! We will see our highs in the low teens and Lows in the Low teens. Snow showers. New snowfall totals between 1" to 2" inch range for Lafayette and more up north maybe 2" to 4" inch range and this could still go up or down so I will keep you posted! Winds will be gusty between 25 and 30 mph. Gusts to around 40 mph at times! We will watch this and keep you posted as this can change as well! The main thing as to way we do not want these high winds is with the snow we can lose visibility! And it can make driving dangerous!

Extended Outlook. We will be in this Cold pattern until at least this weekend! Then we should start to warm up slightly! And currently the weekend is looking like a nice break in the wild Indiana weather that we have been seeing this past week!

I will keep you all posted on this so stay tuned and keep warm!!!!! Here is a wind chill chart I have posted below! This will give you an idea as to how cold you can expect it to be!!
