Rain And Wind Numbers Are In.

Well the rain has pushed off to the east and now the wind and cooler temperatures take over. Take a look at these peak wind gusts so far across the area.
Monticello, and Frankfort, coming in with gusts of 45 mph. Lafayette, not far behind with 40 mph followed by Remington, with a 39 mph gust. We can still change these numbers as the day continues. Lafayette, is currently still seeing winds gusting to 38+ mph at times. These winds will continue into Friday before finally starting to die down as we head into late Friday and the weekend.

Rainfall for the most part stayed right around what we were expecting. Areas to the north did pick up slightly higher amounts. Take a look.
Kentland, coming in with the highest amount at 0.85". Lafayette, around 0.33". Rensselare, with 0.28". and Monticello, around 0.13".

Now that that cold front is through we have been seeing our temperature fall slowly as the day continues. We currently sit at 48* degrees.
Much cooler air is making its way into our area. We will see a low tonight around the freezing mark 32* degrees. Highs tomorrow in the upper 40s with a low Friday night cold around 26* degrees!

That's it for now bloggers. I'll check back again soon.
