System Update. High Winds Still The Main Threat.

You can see the system really starting to take shape as it continues to move closer to the area. This system will be packing high winds of 40 to 45+ mph at times. showers and a few thundershowers are possible. Right now the timing for this system hasn't changed much since my last update. I still expect rainfall later tonight before midnight. Rainfall between .10" and .25" with slightly higher
amounts possible in thundershowers.

There is a slight risk for severe weather area that is very close to home. However I still expect the strong storms to stay well to our west.

Take a look at this EHI chart below. This is where I expect the severe weather to be tonight if any.
Again I cannot totally rule out a few rumbles tonight however nothing to be concerned about. Our main threats will be the gusty winds.

Here is a link to the current Watches and Advisories for our area.

Take care bloggers. I'll check back in soon.
