If your in Jasper county around Remington and Rensselaer areas then be ready for some HEAVY downpours and GUSTY winds!! this cell has had past reports of tree damage in IL, and is heading off to the east toward Jasper county. (Heavy rainfall and Gusty Winds) Tornadoes are not looking like a real threat for our area tonight so you all can rest with ease knowing that! ;)

Also Heavy rains and Gusty winds are about to enter Benton county as well. So Benton Newton And Jasper counties be ready for some heavy rain and gusty winds. Within the next few minutes or so..
----------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------
There have been many trees reported down around the IL, areas do to winds gusting in these storms to around 50 and 60 mph. Main Threat Tonight is (Wind Damage)

We will be seeing these storms here real soon as they are on the state line here in Indiana. Currently it is still looking like our main threat's will be Gusty winds to 35 - 40 mph and winds gusting in storms possible near 50 mph..... Wind damage is currently one of the biggest threats. This storm that will be effecting us has had reports of mostly wind damage and a few hail reports. Wind is looking like the main threat though! Lightning is a threat with any thunderstorm however lighting with this system is real frequent..

I'M watching the echo tops closely and most of them are around 30,000 to 35,000 feet. There are a few echo tops to 40,000 feet which is the average for severe thunderstorms. This is why we are not ruling out a stray severe thunderstorm tonight in the WLFI viewing area.

I will check back..... Hang in there gang we will be OK! ;)

Just heard a rumble of thunder here in Frankfort. Looks like a small cell is developing to my west.

It's raining here in Frankfort (sounds like it is coming down pretty good). Can hear the wind howling every now and then as well. And this isn't even the main line yet.

Wow. Those storms are really flying that are to our west still. Moving at 60 MPH. Bet those are packing some good wind gusts!

I just posted to the wrong blog! rite blog, wrong item. Thundering here now in Rem with lightning and a severe warning until 2:15. I HATE it when it storms this time of night. Temp is a ridiculous 69*.

Saw a report where a roof was taken off a house in Romeoville, IL. That is where Chicago radar is located.

I see these storm cells and don't know which one will hit my area (Frankfort). An Indy news site has an interactive radar that you can click on the individual storm cells and it gives the path of the storms but it keeps changing the paths!
Oh, now they have issued warnings in IN to my west... wind gusts in excess of 70 mph. How scary!
