Major Rainfall Totals And More Storms To Come!!

There are your final major rainfall totals from last nights wild WET storm!!!!! You can see Lafayette, coming in with one of the highest rainfall amounts of the day. Followed by Remington, with a good 1.53" inches. Kentland, with 1.17" inches and then at the bottom Attica, with 0.71" inches which is still a good amount of water.....

It is my sisters Birthday today!! Yes, the big 20 lol..... This should be a wild day for me today running back and forth to catch the latest weather models! One thing is for sure! I will get my running in! :) I'M sorry to say that we do have more thunderstorms in the forecast this evening. I hope you all rested well last night for we shall do it all again tonight!

We have another cold front that these storms are going to form along. I have been watching the Satellite this morning and the latest LI models showing that we will once again see the sun peak out! As this happens we will become more unstable as we did yesterday. Our LI is expected to be between -6 and -7 by this evening. CAPE values are going to be high as well around 3,000j/kg which supports the hail once again along with more dangerous frequent lightning..... We will be looking at heavy rainfall with some models looking for three quarters of an inch to one inch possible with as always locally higher amounts inside thunderstorms. This time we are looking at more wind shear over our area however more is in the IL, areas. Still with that being said we will not rule out a few isolated tornadoes possible just yet! Our tornado threat is currently at a 2% chance. However we will not rule them out!

We will look for this closer to this evening once again.....

I'M going to try and get a few things done here. And wish my sister a happy birthday. Then I will be back later on with more updates in and out of storms. We will all do our part and stay safe!!

Hello. My wife and I bought our house about 6 months ago. It was a foreclosure and we were able to get a great deal on it. We also took advantage of the 8K tax credit so that definitely helped. We did an extensive remodeling job and now I want to refinance to cut the term to a 20 or 15 year loan. Does anyone know any good sites for mortgage information? Thanks!
