Hey Fellow Bloggers!!
Well, we have more rain back in our forecast after the wonderful day we just had yesterday! We really was not to hot yesterday with out high here in Lafayette only reaching in the upper 70s at a big 78.8* degrees. Our average high for this time of year is around 80* to 82* degrees. Really we are not to far below average as well as our nightly low. Last nights lows was around 63.1* degrees which is right around average! Now everyone wants to know about this rain to come right?? Will we see anything severe??? Will we see a total wash out??? Well, keep reading and I will let you now.... Here is a quick look at today's weather outlook below. You can see in this map I put together for you all above that I'M thinking the severe weather risk will stay to our south this time around! Yes, I think areas of Terre Haute, and around Evansville, have the better chance at some stronger storms today. The WLFI viewing area on the other hand is looking for some rain by as soon as most of us will be waking up this morning. Currently it is looking like we could hear a few thunder rumbles / scattered thundershowers however I'M not looking at severe at this time.
Rainfall however is looking anywhere between three quarters of an inch to an inch and a quarter with still locally higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. Winds today are looking between 20 and 25 mph with a few gusts possible to 28 near 30 mph at times cannot be ruled out.
Here is a quick look at your forecast for the next two day's below.I'M showing you all this because after today and the slight chance for a light hit and or miss shower on Thursday I think we will see a small dry spell. Yes, I think we will finish out the week rather nice. Meaning no major rain washouts. You can see that our temperatures will be below average by a good five degrees or so. And those nights will fall back into the upper 50s for a little while! But other then that we are not looking to bad.
I have been watching the (CPC) and they agree with this forecast of mine..... Yes, our temperatures are expected to be around normal to slightly below average for the next 6 to 10 day's. And our rainfall is expected to be around normal. (Which Is Just What We Wanted To Hear) As for the Next 8 to 14 day's we will see our temperatures right around where they should be which is around 82* degrees..... Here is a map below of the next 8 to 14 day outlook for our temperatures.Have a wonderful day today Bloggers. I will check back if needed!! Until then remember your umbrella's!!!!! And always drive safe on wet roads!! ;)
