Saturday snow bringing SLICK roads! Drive safely!!

Here is something from the NWS! With all this new falling snow we need to slow it down out there! Take it slow and drive safely!!!!!

ACCUMULATING SNOW CONTINUED ACROSS ALL BUT FAR WESTERN INDIANA.PATCHY FREEZING DRIZZLE WAS REPORTED NEAR LAFAYETTE AT MONTICELLO.

THE PRECIPITATION WAS CAUSING SLICK ROADS RESULTING IN TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS. EXTREME CAUTION IS ADVISED IF YOU ARE DRIVING.

Drive safe drive smart and Have a great and snowy weekend!

H H H Hey T T T There! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr It was a biting cold day out there yesterday! Here in Lafayette we had a High of 21* Degrees! However the wind did make it feel much COLDER!!!!! It really was a great day to just sit inside and listen to the classic Christmas Music! With a Nice HOT cup of Tea Cocoa or whatever you like!! :-) Today we have snow coming! Not a whole lot this time. I'M currently looking for an Inch or Less then an inch starting after 8:AM! I don't think we will need those shovels this time!. However the wind will be our Biggest thing to keep watch on. Not only that but our temperatures!! An expected high in the low 30s with winds between 20 and 25mph gusting near 30mph at times will make our windchill high feel like 15* degrees! And our low feel like -4* Degrees!! Pets need to be kept warm and we need to dress warm! Here you can see the windchill map I made below.

I know I talk a lot about how COLD it is was or will be. But the Wind chills are really something to take note of! Wind chills can be very dangerous! As you see above -4* Degrees!!!!!

We will have another Cold blast of air on the way for Sunday! Dropping temperatures from the 30s today to the 20s again! As another cold front pushes through our area! We will really start to feel it by later tonight into Sunday!! We may need to bundle up like this little guy above! :-) I'M still watching Tuesday for another possible rain to snow system! This is believe it or not still a little far out to give you a Strong forecast! As I like to say nothing is ever set in stone till it is happening! We will just have to keep watching it and I will keep you posted!!

Keep warm stay safe in the cold wind chills and I will see you real soon! Have a great weekend weatherwise and otherwise!!!!! ((Let the Saturday snow flakes fly!!))
