Spring time storms tonight and winter comes right back thie weekend!

Well here is the latest lets just get right to it! The map above is for 7:00am this morning. You see the light rain has pushed off. The thing we are looking at in this map is the cold front. You would think that the cold front would cool us off however this time it is not going to do so much. We will try to clear out a bit today before the next batch of rain and storms move in after midnight tonight. If we clear out with partly cloudy skies then we will start to heat up. Currently I'M looking for a high around 65* degrees but if we see a lot of sun we could pass that with no problem. And as you all know we don't want a lot of daytime heating. Now I have been looking at the maps all night and I still think that the heaviest rain will stay north of Remington. This is good for you Mary Anne, I think Remington as well as Lafayette will stay around Three quarters of an inch to an inch of rain. This is great news for the rivers. Also we are in a slight risk for severe weather for tonight into Wednesday as seen below. We also will see some gusty high winds in the storms as well. I look for the winds to be between 10 and 20 mph with gusts to 35 mph maybe even 40 mph in storms. High winds will be a problem. I do think by the latest model runs that we will see the worst of the storms stay to our south. However we will not call it over by any means as there is still that chance! And in Indiana a slight chance is to high of a chance. The main things with this storm will be Damaging winds and Lightning. You can bet I will have another update coming your way later on today! We need to stay on top of things.....

We did miss out on thunderstorms last night which is great! And now we are getting ready for the next system. It will be a long night for me and all bloggers. I can tell already the blogs will be fired up and going strong. Be sure to post your final rainfall totals so we can see how things are in other areas. And just think right after all this Spring like weather and storms tonight we will be tracking snow on the radars once again. Saturday the start of our weekend we have that chance for another snow storm where we could see snowfall around Five inches with still a slight chance for more! We will watch this as it gets closer and time everything out but for now remember the lightning safety tips and lets get through this first thunderstorm of the season.....

I will check back with another update later today see you then....................
