Lafayette will miss out on the strong storms while the heavy rain still is a factor!

Here is the latest look at my radar above. you can see that Remington is really getting the HEAVY bands of rain at this time. Lafayette here at home will start to see this rain here real soon. As you can see it is right on our back doors! Below is another image of our current radar and you will see what is two lines of storms.
The first line which is the line we will see is in IL, and IN, at this time. The next line which is a little hard to see with this image is in Arkansas, this is the line which will put out the stronger storms! And it is heading off to the north north east! This line will effect the areas more of KY, and south IN, this will be south of I70.

More good news with this system other then us just seeing a few scattered thundershowers, is the line is now showing signs of pushing off to the east much faster then earlier! Lafayette could see another inch of rainfall and Remington around another inch and a half when this line is all said and done! Still if you live by the rivers you should be ready to move to higher ground as needed. I know I have said this many times before but it is true!

I will check back as needed. Here before long with another update!

Thank you Brow I seen this come up on my radar! Yes this is put out because of the high GUSTY winds! IF you look closely on the radars you will see with that cell there is a nice bow in it.

This cell should push off rather fast!
