Robin Eggs, Warm Sunset's, And Mild Temperatures, Oh My! :o)

Hello It is good to be HOME! And what a welcome nature has given us! I'M sooooo Tired and pooped lol. You see above as I was out at my Aunts we came across a robins nest full of little robin eggs. This is not the first time we have found a nest in this same spot but it is one of the first times I have found eggs in it! Yes, all five of them!! I could not pass up this picture. And this really says Spring to me as we start to see the robins at the end of winter!! After finding this nest I thought I would find out a little more about our new friend the Robin, and thought you all would like to know as well so here you go.

The quintessential early bird, American Robins are common sights on lawns across North America, where you often see them tugging earthworms out of the ground. Robins are popular birds for their warm orange breast, cheery song, and early appearance at the end of winter. Though they’re familiar town and city birds, American Robins are at home in wilder areas, too, including mountain forests and Alaskan wilderness.
You can see all the high gusty wind reports above with not one of them lower then 30 mph!! And we still have more windy weather to get through! Yes I think we could still see winds today between 25 and 30 mph with a few gusting around 35 - 40 mph once again at times. The good thing that kinda made up for all these gusty winds was the nice warm temperatures! Yes, people all over was talking about how nice it was and yesterday was the first day for many to get out there shorts! Me being one of them lol. And it sure is funny how 82* degrees feels HOT when it is the first 80s of the year! Now if this was July we would be ASKING for the 80s for that would feel cool ;) Take a look at all these MILD temperatures recorded below.84* degrees in Terre Haute, and Indianapolis, And 82* degrees here in Lafayette, and the Remington, area.. Also we seen the beautiful sunsets around the area as Teri, shows us the nice warm Indiana skies above! We really could not have asked for much more. Thanks Teri for this beautiful picture. Keep them coming..... ;)

Yes, the first 80s this year and more are coming! We will look for temperatures today in the low 80s and lows in the upper 50s to low 60s! How does that sound?? Spring is here and taking charge!!! Another thing I have seen for the first time this year are the Bee's! Yes, it is that time of year again ;)

Today we are looking for Off and On sun or Partly cloudy skies. We will like I said have the winds again so hang on to your hats as you go out. And you will again love the temperatures which will be in the low 80s!!!!! And Sunday we look rather nice as well with temperatures again in the upper 70s to low 80s. And Partly cloudy skies / Off and On sun. Winds will be between 20 and 25 mph with a few gusts to 30 mph possible. Rain is not looking to return until closer to late night Monday into Tuesday! This is when we will see that line of rain move through our area with rainfall currently looking between Three quarters of an inch to an Inch and a quarter possible. Now I will keep a close watch on this and I will keep you posted!

For now it is looking like a pretty nice weekend that is for sure so you all will be able to get out and enjoy! Then be back here by the start of the work week to start tracking that rain again! ;) lol....Have a good one and I will see you all again real soon!

ENJOY THE WEEKEND! AND REMEMBER YOUR SUN SCREEN!!!!! :)
