We Look At Some Strong Severe Storms That Smashed The South!

Hey there! What a day we had yesterday all over the country! With rainy wet weather here at home. And you go just to the south of Indiana in KY, and TN, areas they where seeing lots of rain and storms. I will talk more about there storms here in just a minute. First we should talk about whats in store for us today and Easter Sunday!!

Today I'M calling for much better weather I know all you are happy about! I seen you all commented about not having nice weather for the weekend in a while! Well, that is true lol. However nature has a nice gift for us this weekend. We will see lots of Sunny skies and nice mild temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s. Winds won't be that bad as I look for them to be between 15 and 20 mph. Now we do have that freeze watch in effect like you see in the map above. We will see nice clear skies tonight which will allow the temperatures to fall into the lower 30s. This is mainly for farmers and for peoples gardens. Now I think most will be ok with your flowers and such as I don't look for us to stay below freezing for long! Hitting freezing is only a possibility Still if you feel safer you can bring in the plants or at least cover them. But as for now I think we should be ok. Here is a word from the NWS below.

FREEZE WATCH...

It is starting to really look like spring out their. I was out looking around the yard yesterday and I found lots of our flowers starting to really pop up! Now I'M not really into flowers other then watering them and that kind of stuff but as for the names of them I have NO IDEA lol. But here are a few pictures I took and you can see what I'M talking about by really coming up...
I think these are called "Live Forevers" at least that is what we have always called them. They are coming up fast in the back yard and really look nice. With them being this big now I wonder what they will look like as we head into this summer?!?! ;)
Here we have our tiny little "Rose bush" that is just starting to come out to enjoy this nice weather we have coming! And below is a plant I have no idea what it is called... See if any of you know and if so feel free to post the name in the comments!! THANKS!
Ok and last but not least how will we look for Easter? Well, I think the kiddies will be able to get out and search for the Easter Eggs without the rain coats or winter coats!! I'M looking at lots of sunny skies once again and MILD TEMPERATURES in the upper 50s to low 60s!!!!! This is looking like a GREAT weekend and an even better Easter Sunday! HAPPY EASTER BLOGGERS!!!!!
Now check out this radar image I took earlier yesterday evening around 7:30pm. Justin, thanks for your update! I do see there is another freeze warning out for tonight, Oh Well Indiana for ya:)

Your plants that you call "Live Forevers: are Sedums, they bloom in the fall, with large flowers, Wonderful for butterflies.

I know because I have them all over my yard.

Enjoy this beautiful day!
