The Severe thunderstorm has been put into effect for Carroll county for this same cell that is moving out of White county. This warning is in effect until 8:15 Pm EDT. This cell is moving south east at around 25 mph. In this cell you can look for some possible small hail around Pea sized. Lightning, and heavy rainfall. There have been some slight rotation picked up with this cell. Watching!!

Also extreme south east ports of Tippecanoe county is under a severe thunderstorm watch as this cell is moving off to the south east as well. Clinton, county is also in this same severe thunderstorm warning.
Once these cells continue to push off to our east we will start to look a little better! I will keep you posted.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NORTHERN INDIANA HAS ISSUED A
* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
NORTHERN WHITE COUNTY IN NORTHWEST INDIANA
* UNTIL 800 PM EDT

------------------------------------------------
The NWS did put this warning into effect for White county until 8:00pm tonight. With this cell you in White county should look for heavy heavy rainfall as radar is showing rain around 2" to 4" inches an hour. And possible pea to Marble sized hail. This cell is quickly moving off to the South East. This cell is weakening nicely at this time as it continues to push off the the east.

The Latest Weather Data Is In..... The NWS has put the Whole WLFI viewing area under a Severe Thunderstorm watch until Midnight EDT. The WLFI viewing area has seen some scattered thundershowers this evening. However nothing severe as of now. There are some severe thunderstorm watches out for areas to our south as well. This is where I look for the worst storms to be tonight. They have all the wind shear to work with along with higher CAPE values and EHI. There Lifted index will be between -5 to -8 possible meaning there looking at a much more unstable atmosphere.

However we will keep watching and I cannot rule out a possible stray strong thunderstorm or scattered shower at this time. Currently I think we will miss out on most of the severe weather as the latest is pointing to it staying to our south. However as you all know in Indiana nothing is ever set in stone! We will continue to watch things closely tonight.....

I will check back with another update as needed.
