A Wonderful Week Is In Store For Us All!!!!!

Hey Bloggers! It was just a wonderful weekend weather-wise..... Yes, it was a little cooler then most of us was use to but nothing we couldn't handle! The good thing about this forecast I have is the dry weather! This is just what we need and also what the farmers want / need! I think we will have a little bit for everyone in this forecast! ;) But fist I found this from the National Weather Service and thought you all would like to know! Here it is posted below.

With the beginning of the new one inch hail severe thunderstorm criterion on April 1st, NWS Indianapolis now has a new product at its disposal to communicate the threat to the public and our partners of storms that are strong, but not quite severe. Remember that severe thunderstorms are defined as any storm producing one inch hail or larger, winds to 58 mph (50 knots), or a tornado. Strong storms are those thunderstorms which approach, but do not exceed, these limits.

For these strong, but not quite severe storms, a Special Weather Statement (SPS) product may be issued, headlined as a Strong Thunderstorm Advisory. An example of this product is below. These products will be issued as necessary, unless conditions dictate that all immediate focus be turned only to a large number of severe thunderstorms in the area.

Now above is a map that I have put together for you all. This is a look at Today's weather outlook! You can see we will have our fair weather friend! That's right High pressure in place that will keep us mostly clear with highs in the upper 70s around 77* degrees! Yes, all that southern warm air will be coming our way this week! Boy Oh Boy will it feel nice! ;) Also we will be staying nice and dry this week which will help the crops dry out and will allow the rivers to continue falling. I'M sure a lot of our yards are taller do to all the past rain we have seen!

Well, I look for things to start looking much better this week. And I also have something for all you warm weather lovers! Yes, I see temperatures hitting the middle 80s this week! So we put all this together and we are calling for dry and warm! It just don't get much better then this that is for sure!

Here is your Quick Cast Blog Cast I have put together for you below. This should tell you all what we have to look forward to this week!

Quick Cast.......................

Today look for some Partly cloudy skies with mild highs in the upper 70s! Around 77* degrees. Also winds will be nice cool and rather calm between 15 and 20 mph. This is looking like great grilling weather! Lows will be in the low to middle 50s.

Wednesday will be another beautiful day much like today with more clear skies / Sunny skies maybe a few high cirrus clouds but that would be about it! Highs will hit around 81* degrees with a light wind between 15 and 20 mph. Look for lows in the upper 50s to low 60s possible.

Thursday much of the same! :) More Partly cloudy to sunny skies with highs a little warmer yet around 84* degrees. Lows will be in the upper 50s.

Extended Outlook.
This week is looking beautiful with partly cloudy skies to mostly sunny skies. We will look for highs this week in the upper 70s to low 80s! And lows this week still mild in the 50s. I think we will keep it dry this week with our next best chance for rain coming closer to next week around Wednesday! Now remember the weather models change all the time and this is still far out! However this is currently our next best chance of rain at this time! Until then lets just enjoy the dry warm spring weather!!!!!

So there you have it!! This week is looking GREAT!! But how will Race Day be????? Yes, the Indy 500 is coming up! It is this Sunday. Is it just me or has it come fast this year? Well, we will talk about this here on the Blog real soon. Hopefully we can keep it dry like last year! It would make things so much more enjoyable! However when your there at the 500 race I really don't think you would mind a little rain! lol :) I will have your Race Day forecast posted on here real soon. Until then I wanted to show one quick picture of my sisters Chihuahua Willie, and my Rat Terrier Dobby. These two doggies are the best of buds! And this picture really shows it!! Dobby had to go to the Vet yesterday because he broke off one of his nails on his front foot. Poor little guy! But he is doing great and Willie has been following him all over giving him kisses and making him feel much better! This picture says it all..........
Have a great day Bloggers! ;o)

Justin I really like the NWS putting that "strong" word in their statements about approaching storms. There are some where you just KNOW it is severe out there but now we can know what is headed at us. That wording (mine) didnt say it right but you know what I mean, lol.

Enjoy this string of very nice days!
