The rain is just about here. I have been watching the rain moving closer and closer through out this evening. Here's the latest on what we can expect below.
Well, as you can see above this is a radar image taken at 5:15pm EST this evening. The rain is moving north north east and should be here around Tippecanoe, county between the times of 7:pm and 9:pm EST tonight. Sooner in our western counties, Closer to 6:pm EST. Currently I'm looking for rainfall between 0.75" and maybe 1.50" inches possible in areas. This rain will go through out the night into Tuesday morning. Tonight we will fall to a low of only 45* degrees with an early high tomorrow of 45* degrees as well. The temperature will continue to fall tomorrow as the day continues do to the passing cold front. This will allow any precipitation still in the area to change over to some possible scattered snow flurries in the WLFI viewing area.
Winds for tonight into tomorrow morning are looking between 10 and 20 mph.
So have your umbrellas ready when you head out in the morning. Also take a nice coat because the temperatures will be falling through out Tuesday. As we head into the rest of the week we can expect cooler temperatures with highs in the 30s and lows in the lower 20s...
