Well, you can see much of Newton, county is currently seeing some snow showers. The snow in currently just to the north of Kentland, in Newton county about to head into Jasper county, in the Rensselaer, area. Not much from this small round of snow. This will quickly lift to the northeast and we will see the rest of this system move in a little later on this late afternoon / early evening.

You can see above the snow to our north with ice to our west. The icy mess is what will head into our area, However by the time it reaches us we won't be looking at ice as much as rain! Yes, you can see the area I'm expecting to change over to all rain. This will give us expected rainfall / rain and sleet between 0.25" and 0.50" inches possible. We will change over to snow in time. Looking like sometime late morning of Tuesday with around a half inch or less of snowfall expected at this time! a better snow chance is looking like Thursday! But we will talk about that soon enough.
.
I will continue to watch this developing system as it moves closer. And if I see any major changes I will be sure to let you all know!
