Storms Popping In Iowa!

Radar image taken in Iowa, at 8:23pm EDT.....
As you can see some severe thunderstorms have started to pop up in areas of Iowa, heading into northern IL, here before to long. These cells have spit out a few severe thunderstorm warnings as you can see. Some rotation possible in one of these cells as well as lots of hail inside these cells! Up to 1.50" inches in size. This is why we have this area in the Greatest chance of severe weather tonight!
You can see I have updated this map to show you all the greatest severe threat area tonight. We are still in the chance for a few severe cells! We're not out of the woods by any means. However at this time I believe the highest threat for bigger severe weather will be in this pink area. We are still becoming unstable however as we head into the later hours of the night. We are currently looking at LI, at around -2 which is becoming unstable. As well as EHI at values around 2.0 which would support some severe weather development! So we will continue to watch this event overnight and I will continue to bring you updates as needed...
