A foggy start to thanksgiving before skies clear for a beautiful day!

Happy Thanksgiving Bloggers!

We had a very foggy start to the day yesterday. (11/21/2012). Very dense fog across the area. So thick you could almost cut it with a knife. Take a look at this picture I took before heading out to work around 10:15am EST yesterday.
It was much worse once you actually got out on the open road. People however were taking it nice and slow, being very cautious. Well, we have another shot at fog as we continue through the night and into our Thanksgiving morning. We will see dew points tonight around 39* degrees with air temperatures around 41* degrees. When you have a mild night like tonight with dew points and air temperatures this close together out ahead of a cold front, you get dense fog across the area. And that's what we have in store.
We will have a foggy start to our thanksgiving morning. Things will start to clear out as we head into the late morning hours of thanksgiving. Mostly sunny skies across the area with a mild high around 61* degrees. Winds will be between 10 and 15 mph with gusts between 20 and 25 mph. More clouds will start to move into the area later on that evening with a few scattered light showers after 8:pm EST into early early Friday. Expect a low thanksgiving night around 40* degrees and falling as that cold front pushes through the area.

As for Black Friday, we will see much cooler temperates in the area with a high reaching 43* degrees and falling as the day continues. A low Friday night around 23* degrees. Partly cloudy skies through out the day with winds between 10 and 15 mph. Gusts between 20 and 25 mph.

So be safe and have a great holiday :)
God Bless.
