Wild wind chills this morning! Be sure to put on the layers!!

Quick Cast...........................................

Tonight. It will be cold out there and we will need the layers! Low in the teens and wind chills in the single digits! Partly cloudy and we will still need to watch the roads.

Friday. Mostly clear, Highs in the low 20s and lows in the teens again! This cold pattern will stick around for awhile. Hats and gloves are the key thing for this forecast.

Extended outlook. We have a smaller snow system on the way for Saturday where we are currently looking at snowfall totals in the Half inch to inch range. Still can change and I will keep you posted. For now our forecast Focus, is later on this week as we have another system winding up! Coming in around Tuesday into Wednesday we have a better chance of seeing some bigger snow totals then the 1" to 2" inch stuff! Your weather blog will keep you posted on this and watch it closely!

Well we have a COLD day ahead of us!! We will need to not only dress really warm but we will also have to keep a close watch for Icy spots on the road way!! Temperatures will be COLD as we wake up this morning! and wind chills will be even colder!! An expected high of 27* degrees and a wind at 5 to 10 mph will make it feel like a whopping 15* degrees!!!!! For tonight an expected low of around 17* Degrees and a wind between 5 and 10 mph will make it feel like it is only 9* degrees!!!!! This is a COOL forecast! ;-) I guess you could say!

We have another Quarter inch of snow on the ground today as forecasted in town! Not to forget even a little ice on the houses and light poles! This is why I say take it slow out there and watch for Black ice! If you allow yourself a little extra time you will be fine! Here in this map below we can see the snow leaving our area. And this is a radar image at 12:30am. 12/4/08.

We did have .16" of rain before it turned into all snow! Which is why there could be icy roads this morning! December is looking like a SNOWY month this year so good news for snow lovers which I'M a BIG one! As you know! And will watch another system on Saturday into Sunday where we could see snowfall in the Half inch to an inch range as of now! And a possible system on Tuesday into Wednesday Which I will keep you posted on that as well!! We have a month Packed FULL of fun weather to track! Indiana is the places to be if you like tracking weather! They always say if you don't like the weather just wait a few minuets and it will change! And here it is true!! :-) Things are always changing!!!

As you see above the cold wind chills are something you need to take note of! dress warm and bring your pet inside!! I know I say this a lot but there is a lot of people who think it will be fine to keep them out and it is just not! My dog loves to sleep on the sofa right next to the fireplace! He is nice and cozy! If you can stay home and don't have to go out in this cold weather then this would be a great time to catch up on some reading or Christmas Movies!! Anything to keep you warm! :-)

Have a great day everybody........ I will check back soon! Time for me to get some much missed rest!! Make it a great one and THANK YOU for reading!!!!!
