The latest!

Here is the latest in what we can expect tonight!

We have snow moving in after 4:am Saturday Morning! It is going to be a long night for me! We are looking for it to start out as a bit of Freezing rain however it should be on the Light side around a tenth inch if that! Then a change to all snow! Here in Lafayette we are currently looking for snowfall between one and Three inches! The more north we go the more snowfall! Up around Jasper and Newton counties they are looking for snowfall between Two and Three inches possible! And up around South Bend, they are looking for snowfall between Two and Four inches possible! We will also have to watch for some winds later on this evening into tonight after 7:pm as we could see winds between 5 and 10 mph with gusts to 25 mph maybe a little higher at times but nothing to bad! So as of now I like 1" to 3" inches for Lafayette! This is because the Low pressure has tracked a little more south then it was last night so amounts have fallen. It does still have time to change and it is starting to take form on the radars in other states! So I will check back a little later with the latest in snowfall and timing! Also if you have any pictures of the snow to come you can send them to me at storm18mini@aol.com and I will post them here on the blog.

Stay tuned!
