Quick Cast....................

Hey there we have a wet setup coming our way! I have been watching the new models and maps as they come in and today the models and maps show the storms not being as severe as they showed last night! This is good news. However we are not out of the woods yet and I will tell you why! First here is what we can expect for tonight.

We will start to see our first batch of rain and thunder move in sometime after 10:pm. Rainfall should be light around .10" to .20" with higher amounts to our south with .50" possible. Winds will need to be watched as they could be between 10 and 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph at times in thunderstorms.

Now For Tuesday we will see a few rain showers in the morning then mostly cloudy skies in the afternoon. Expect more rain and the next batch of thunderstorms by late Tuesday night. Starting after midnight. Winds will be between 15 and 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph.

Wednesday we are already in a slight risk for severe weather so we will keep watching this closely! However rainfall will need to be watched closely as well. We could very well see rainfall around an inch to an inch and a half. Higher amounts north of Remington as an inch and a half to maybe two inches is possible. We don't want that two inches so we will watch that closely. The storms do have the chance to bring severe weather to us. One of the things we look at is Lift. Yesterday the Lift index or LI was showing us in the -2 to -4 range which is mod storms. Today we are right around -1 to 0 which is light storms. Still with the -4 close to home I will keep a close eye on this! And if anything high winds are going to be a problem as we could see gusts to 35 mph on Wednesday in storms. Now this is as of 3:29pm and I will have another update coming soon..... See you then.
