And there was Many Many more this just goes to show how lucky we was! And there was even roof damage reported in Our area around Tippecanoe county as well. It really was a mess all over!Above is the radar image of what I was looking at as that line was about to go through Lafayette. You can see the severe thunderstorm warning boxes as well as all the tornado warning boxes! We seen the high winds gusting that afternoon and Our Peak gust was Get this! 59 MPH!!!!! WOW! What a storm! We sure was seeing the HIGH winds! And we are not the only ones Remington was seeing a peak gust to around 51 mph.....Windy all around! And that is when we seen the wind damage like the areas I have posted above! Rain was another slight problem.....You can see in this picture above the rain at least 3 Inches deep on the walk way to my porch! I myself have never seen this much standing water in my yard in my whole life! It really got me to see that much! My final rainfall amount from yesterday morning to the time is stopped around 4:pm was a total of 2.46" inches. A LOT O RAIN! And we seen around this much rainfall around the area! Today good news is we will have some time to dry before more rain moves in Tuesday. Yes we could see some more thunderstorms possible with more heavy rain looking around an inch and a quarter with some higher amounts possible north of Lafayette. Could be closer to two inches. What a mess? right? :o)

One thing my sister just could not get over was how quick our weather changed! By that I mean we went from that radar image above to a few minutes later Partly Cloudy skies! Take a look this was just after the storms passed. More like 5 minutes after the storms passed!

Yes, the FAST changing weather here in Indiana is like nothing I have ever seen before! We really went from the stormy weather we was seeing with Heavy Heavy downpours and Dangerous winds.....To 5 minutes later this!!!!! WOW! You gotta love it here..........

Well, it is going on 2:am and I really need some sleep! I will try to catch up with you all here again later this afternoon. Real quick we will be seeing the nice Partly cloudy skies today. However we will see the clouds move into our area later on tonight with some rain showers starting after midnight closer to 1:am! I will time out any possible thunderstorms for tomorrow here later on today as well.....I need my sleep to get through that! :o) LOL. So again we will talk more about the thundershowers to come for Tuesday later on this afternoon so be sure to check back soon ;o)

Thank you for reading and it was a lot of fun tracking with you all today....................

We had a tree fall over in our neighbor's yard yesterday. I think the rain had soaked throught it and then the wind had helped to topple it over. Lol.

And yes, it was crazy fast how the weather had changed. :) Thanks Justin for the updates!

Thanks for your report! I hope you did not have to much damage!

The ground is just so WET right now that with the winds we seen yesterday trees where much more likely to fall! And there was reports of them falling all over the area!

Even power lines down do to the debris and falling trees.
