We are about to see that dry slot move into the area! You can see in this radar image below.
Radar Image Taken At 11:pm EST.....

We have been seeing lots of wind through out the evening gusting anywhere between 35 and 53 mph!! We will see a slight break in the winds for a while here soon however they will pick back up once again as we head into later Wednesday! The more north you are the higher the winds will be. From Fort Wayne, north winds will pretty much be gusting to 25 - 30 mph through out the night. Heavy snow will also be around early Wednesday! However in the meantime. Bloggers I have some amazing I witness video sent in from one of our bloggers! You won't believe it.

Take a look!

This video was sent in by Seth Lochmueller, from Fort Wayne! You can see how strong the winds are and how much the visibility has been reduced! He says it's Crazy up there! This is a great video to give everyone an idea as to how DANGEROUS the weather is right now! Seth, stay home! ;) lol. Fort Wayne, has been seeing gusts to 48mph near 50 mph! This is just amazing! Snowfall upthere as a storm grand total could be over a foot in places! A BIG thank you to Seth, for sharing this with us!

I recorded snow and sleet here in Lafayette, of 4.5" Inches. With winds gusting to 46mph. Visibility has been reduced to three quarters of a mile at times. In Kokomo, I have reports of winds gusting to 53mph with snow and sleet that reduced visibility to a half mile. Also in Frankfort reports came in with 4.0" inches of snow and visibility reduced to 300ft at times! This is just amazing. I'm really surprised that there are not more blizzard warnings out for the viewing area! We could use them!

More sleet / snow through out the night, Slight break once the dry slot moves in however it won't last for long! Winds will continue to gust between 25 - 30 mph through out most of the night in more of our northern counties. Winds will calm a little more in our central and southern counties for a little while. Roads are very slick and it is very dangerous. If you don't believe me then watch the video once more! ;)

I'll check back as needed. If you have any weather pictures or reports you can send them to me at dobby1717@aol.com Thanks again!
