I have recorded 4.0" inches of snow and sleet on the ground here in Lafayette. I also have a report of 4" inches of sleet and snow in Frankfort, and 4.1" inches of sleet and snow in West Lafayette.
Visibility is down to one mile in Lafayette.
Visibility is down to a half of a mile in Kokomo.
Visibility is also down to one mile in Fort Wayne.
Winds still continue to gust between 35 and 40mph through out the viewing area. This is making for a current wind chill around -2* to -5* degrees!

was just driving on fort wayne's north side.. visibility less then 1/4 mile... really, really tough conditions.. not something you would want to get stuck in
